Summary of Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities including assisting with the daily operations in the food pantry, including volunteer supervision and training, processing donations and deliveries, recordkeeping, inventory management, waste management, while maintaining a safe and pleasant work environment.
The Food Pantry Associate will work closely with the food pantry team to ensure that the pantry is organized and well stocked.
Physical and Other Requirements:
This position involves the frequent/daily physical work including bending, stooping, lifting up to 50 pounds, spending long periods of time standing and walking. We work with a diverse clientele and must embrace the clients and community we support in a professional, non-judgmental and confidential manner.
Experience and Qualifications:
Previous experience managing volunteers and others preferred. Must have a passion for EChO and our services. This position is scheduled to work Monday – Thursday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Hourly rate for this role is $18.00 - $20.00 depending on experience.
