Your gift provides warm safe nights to our unhoused neighbors.

At Evergreen Christian Outreach, our shelter is more than a safe place to sleep—it offers comprehensive support to help guests transition to stable housing.

Why Donate to the EChO Shelter?

  • ❄️ Warmth & Safety Every Night: Starting in October through April, the Shelter opens its doors nightly to provide a secure, quiet place to sleep during the harshest months in the mountains.
  • 🍽️ More Than a Meal: Guests enjoy companionship and dinner, breakfast, and a sack lunch to go—ensuring no one leaves hungry or uncared for.
  • 🚿 Dignity & Care: Access to showers, laundry, and clean clothing helps restore comfort and self-worth.
  • 🧭 Pathway to Stability: Case management and one-to-one support help Guests move from surviving without shelter to achieving long-term housing stability.
  • 🏔️ Community Impact: Every person who finds warmth, food, and support through the Shelter represents hope and resilience for our mountain community.
  • 🤝 Neighbors Helping Neighbors: More than 200 Volunteers power this mission—serving meals, building connections, and offering compassion that changes lives.
  • 🛌 Life-Saving Support: For many, EChO Shelter is more than a bed—  it’s a bridge from life-threatening freezing temperatures to a path forward to stable housing.
